A MESSAGE FROM OUR CEO
As I am sure you are aware, the potential of the COVID 19 virus to spread rapidly through our community is of concern to everyone. In addition, the Academy has a duty of care to its staff and to you.
Please let the Academy staff know immediately if you have had close contact recently with someone who has returned from overseas in the last two weeks or someone who has been diagnosed as having the COVID 19 virus.
If at any time during your course you develop a high temperature, even if you don't have any other symptoms like a sore throat or a cough, please do not come to the Academy campus. Contact us and we can arrange for you to undertake most of your course on-line while you are self-isolating.
We also recommend that if you are suffering from flu like symptoms you make an appointment with your GP for him to determine if you should be referred to a COVID 19 Clinic.
In order to ensure that the Academy campus is a COVID 19 virus free environment, we have decided to test the temperature of everyone, including staff members, the first time they enter the campus each day. This is a non-invasive test and only takes a matter of seconds.
If your temperature is higher than 38 degrees you will be asked to leave the campus and make arrangements by phone to continue your study on line where possible.
As information changes by the hour we recommend you go to SA Health website to the up-to-date advice on the virus
